The Zoo

There is a beautiful zoo in Entebbe on Lake Victoria, just over an hour from Mpigi. We thought it would be a good idea to take all the kids from the property over their school break. We were able to use some of the money that was donated to our trip to pay for this day out. The majority of these kids can count on one hand the amount of times they have been in a car and most of them have never even left Mpigi! It was surprising to us that these kids hadn't seen many of these animals before that are native to their country, like crocodiles, zebras, and rhinos. It was great to see how excited they all were! The children were very grateful for this day!!
