Mpigi

As our family team left Kibaale we joined our church team in Mpigi for a few days. It was great to see familiar faces from church!! The team did an awesome job of blessing the community in Mpigi, and especially our 52 kids on the 10 acres, who just soak up the love!!!

Finn has a way of getting very dirty, very quickly!!

Shaban

Last night, we had a knock at the door. There had been a bad motorcycle accident in town. Two "boda bodas" collided head on and four people were seriously hurt. I was told they were already in the back of one of our trucks in the driveway. They all had broken legs and head wounds. Shaban, one of our builders, was in the truck and hurt very badly. He was our painter at the medical clinic. He is also one of the guys I play soccer with.

His leg was broken in a few places and the bones were coming out. He has 8 children, one which was born very recently.

The medical costs will be around $1000.

Avin & Finn

It doesn't matter where we are living, Avin and Finn are best of friends. They play all day together, and in Uganda especially, very creatively!!! We hope after these years of spending all day together, they'll still like each other when they're older!!!

Family Team

It's been amazing to host the 6 families from Pacific Academy in Kibaale these past two weeks. They have been very busy -  in the classrooms, on outreach, home visits, bike clinic, VBS, chapels, sports day, laundry by hand, and even mudding a new house for someone in the community!! It's been so encouraging for us to see families doing so well in Uganda, hopefully this is just the beginning!!

Our kids have LOVED spending time with the 15 kids on the team, they can't seem to get enough play time in each day!!
