One of the departments of the Kibaale Community Centre is Community Services. There is a number of different things we do out of this office; seed banks, community clinics and AIDS support groups just to name a few.
This department also has 8 needy families that we sponsor, child led families. In some cases there might be an elderly grandparent in the home, but not always. Most of these families have an 11 or 12 year old that is the head of the house. Sponsoring one of these families for $30 month allows them to get an education, health care, food and the attention of our Kibaale social workers!
Right now only 4 of these families are sponsored. If you would like more information on one of the Communities of Hope families please email Jenny Nel @ jnel@papcs.com .
Recently our new Canadian Director, Ken Drisner, was able to come to Kibaale for a short visit. We were able to take him to meet a few of these families.
