It's been a while since we've had Christmas in the cold!! There are a lot of things we miss about Uganda; our friends, the slower pace of life, and at this time of year the weather, but we're also enjoying this Christmas season back in Canada with family and friends. It's been a lot of fun to see it through Mazzy's eyes, a lot of firsts for her!! Actually Avin and Finn don't seem to recall much from their holidays before Uganda either.
We've all been excited for gingerbread houses, ice skating, lots of lights, visits with Santa, school concerts, shopping for the Christmas hamper, youth group events (can't believe we have a child in YOUTH!), and just playing games or baking cookies at home with our family!!
