Home Visits

My (Shannon) Mom had the chance to come to Uganda for three weeks at the end of May, other than seeing us (especially the kids), meeting our sponsor children was a highlight of her visit. We both sponsor preschool children who have just joined Kibaale Community School this year. They were very shy meeting us for the first time, but Joel was able to come with us which helped the kids to feel more comfortable.

We sponsor Betty, she lives with both her parents, a sister, 2 brothers, and her mom is having a new baby any day!! My Mom sponsors Jonathan; he lives with his parents and six siblings!! They were both wonderful families who are working hard in their farms, they grow food mostly for their own consumption, but also earn a little income from the crops as well.
