Palm Sunday

To celebrate Palm Sunday in Kibaale this year our staff decided to do a parade through town. All the students and staff were so excited about participating; we had a great turn out. Everyone met here at the centre with whatever tree branches they could get their hands on, the trucks were loaded up with all of the sound equipment, and off we went.

We were also very fortunate to have a group of American students visiting the centre this weekend. This group, from Uganda Christian University, comes twice a year to see our project and the different ministries that we are doing here.

The parade lasted around an hour; with singing, enthusiastic branch waving, and then we came back for a big church service. What an amazing way to celebrate and remember Palm Sunday and Jesus’ march into Jerusalem!!
