We are very thankful to have our good friends, Dave, Laura, Josh and Aislyn Nelson, visiting us in Kibaale for the next 2 weeks. We met the Nelson’s at our home church, Peace Portal Alliance, 7 years ago. We spent several years in a care group together so they have been praying for our family and our work here since the beginning!! It will be great to be able to spend time together in Uganda, but also to show them some of the things we’ve been doing in both Kibaale and Mpigi!
First on our list of things to do was meet their sponsor child, Judith. Judith is in Nursery Class and was very shy when we went into her classroom to introduce her to Dave and Laura. Later that day we drove her home so that they could meet the rest of her family and bring her some gifts from home. She was very friendly and happy to have us visit her at home, grabbing Aislyn’s hand when they got out of the truck to lead the way!!
