Maize Flour

We are now right in the midst of dry season in Kibaale, yuck!! We have had no rain for about a month, and will likely not have rain until October!!!

For our family it means we get dirty and dusty all day long and have to conserve our water or pump it out of a nearby well. For a family in the community, it means that all their crops have died off and they have long walks to water. One of the ways that we can help these families is with a special gift of Maize Flour. Maize flour is a staple food in Uganda, it is turned into a mashed potato like substance called posho.
