It doesn't matter where we are in Uganda - Mpigi, Kibaale or Masaka, water is always a major issue.
When construction of the Timothy Centre started there was an existing well on the property. By well, we don't mean a deep hole where people come with a bucket to lower down and get nice clean water. A well here is basically a ditch where water has collected, and it is not clean!!
Fortunately funds were available for us to drill an actual bore hole on the edge of our property, giving the community access to clean water!!

Great post. Good to have another reminder of just how precious water is. There was just a water issue in White Rock - perhaps insignificant in comparison? Hmmm. ;)
