29 000 kms traveled, 40 hours of travel to get home, 122 days away, 2 flat tires in 30 minutes on the safari drive, 1 time that Joel was car sick on the safari drive, 7442 digital pictures taken, 0 days sick in Africa, 400 sq ft (the size of our Ugandan home), 51 children in the homes (all missed greatly). After all that, we are home safe and sound.
We were greeted at the airport by family and friends who took us home to a house that had been scrubbed, fridge and freezer filled, flowers planted, etc. We are so grateful for the overwhelming welcome home. Thank You!!!
