Getting close...

The past few months have been a whirlwind for our family as we prepare for our move to Uganda!

As the time to leave gets closer our job descriptions while overseas are becoming clearer. We have just found out we will be working closely with the Pacific Academy teams when they come. This is very exciting for us but can also be a bit stressful when you realize that these trips will often change the student’s lives!

The first construction project we will be focusing on is the new medical center, with the goal for it to be complete by late Spring! The medical center is a great outreach into the community of Kibaale, they see over 1400 patients every month!

We also will continue to spend time at our sister church in Mpigi, the Peace Portal Children’s Village. We will be assisting the director, Mulumba, with running the children’s homes again. Our kids will love the time we spend in Mpigi since they made such great friends there.

As we get ready to leave later this month we are asking our friends and family to continue to support us both in prayer and financially. We are grateful for good health and a lot of energy these past months and are very thankful for the financial support we have received, which at this point is 1/3 of what is needed for our 2 year commitment!! We are truly feeling blessed as we look ahead to the New Year!
