Spring Break Part 1: Pacific Academy Outreach

A highlight for our family each year is hosting the outreach team from Pacific Academy School over spring break.

The team was able to serve alongside many of the ministries in Kibaale; going with our primary classes on outreach in the community, leading devotions, arranging crafts and a sports day, helping out with the Awana program, building a mud hut for one of our students, painting projects in the nursery school, and a highlight for everyone is always visiting their sponsor children at home!

Home visits are not only special because you get to meet your student and see where they live, but meet their families as well, and it is such an honour for these families in Kibaale to have their sponsor at their home too!

Kibaale Community School does outreach every March as well,  a different class goes out every day to a family home in the community, to help them dig, plant crops, fix houses and give out food and clothing, it was great having the students from both schools working together all week!

Our nursery school is in much need of a renovation, and the team got a great start on painting the furniture in a couple of the classrooms, the kids are loving their new bright classes!

Sports Day for the primary school.

Every week the staff from the Kibaale Community Medical Clinic go out into the village to immunize babies, some of the team was able to come along to help weigh babies.

Crafts!

Awana programs run every afternoon in Kibaale, the last half hour is sports and always a favourite time to join in on the fun!

We were able to join a Kibaale class on outreach to mud a new home for one of the students at the school, they worked together very well and did a great job!

Thank you Pacific Academy School for your continued support to Kibaale!!
